A forklift key on a hook can be used by anyone. FlexTor ties every start to an enrolled, authorised operator, and records who ran which machine, on which shift, for how long.
Keys are shared, left in the ignition and copied. After an incident, the key tells you nothing about who was driving. Training records and the person on the machine are two separate things.
With FlexTor, the machine only starts for people enrolled on it. Enrol the operators who are trained and authorised for that machine type, and nobody else can start it.
FlexTor runs on 9–24 V DC and interrupts the start circuit through a relay, the standard immobiliser method, so it retrofits to most forklifts, reach trucks, telehandlers, loaders, cranes and port equipment. Tell us the make and model and we will confirm the fit.
Yes. Enrol them on each machine they are trained for. Each machine keeps its own list.
The start is refused, the ring on the sensor shows red, and the attempt is logged with the time.
On connected units an admin can start a machine from the app with a reason. The start is logged under the admin's name, not as an anonymous start.
Engine data needs a J1939 CAN bus, which most diesel forklifts, loaders and plant have. FlexTor only listens on the bus and never sends anything to it.
No. Authorisation runs on the unit. A connection is only needed for live records, app changes and alerts.
Tell us the machine types, makes and how many. We will confirm the fit and the right set-up for your site.
